Network activity as a leading signal

For networks with a living ecosystem, it is useful to look at real-world usage:

• number of transactions and active addresses — basic network heart rate;
• activity in DeFi and DePIN - where user demand goes;
• network stability - uptime and absence of failures increase confidence.

Increased usage does not in itself guarantee an increase in price, but it does form a fundamental pillar: where there is demand for blocking space, the asset has more reason to be in demand.

What open interest says

Open interest (OI) for futures shows how much capital is worth in positions:

• price increase + OI increase - new money starts moving (trend strength);
• price rise + fall in OI - movement at the closing of shorts, less stable;
• sharp jump in OI and funding - overheating, risk of cascading liquidations.

For Solana, as a volatile asset, overheating of derivatives is especially important: unloading leverage often gives quick and deep pullbacks.

Key price zones

Work with zones, not points:

1. Support - the area where the market previously bought declines. Holding it preserves the structure.
2. Resistance - the level where growth stopped. Fixing above opens the next target.
3. Consolidation range - as long as the price is within it, neither side has an advantage; The moment of release is more interesting.

Practical technique: wait for reaction with volume at the zone border. An impulse breakout with increasing volume is more reliable than a sluggish exit in a thin market.

Observation checklist

• Is network activity growing with the price (confirmation) or diverging from it (warning).
• Is open interest and funding overheated?
• How the price behaves near key zones: a rebound, a breakdown with volume or a false movement.

The combination of increasing activity, healthy (not overheated) OI and maintaining support is a constructive background. Violation of these conditions is a reason to reconsider the script.
